Problem solved

There was no single place to see, newest first, what had been added or updated on plants.

How to use it

  1. In the menu, open Updates (left of Pricing).
  2. The “Database content” feed lists plant updates as a change log, newest first.
  3. Use search or filters to focus on a plant, theme, or announcement type.
  4. Open a card for the public detail. Full monographs stay in the app (30-day free trial).

Problem solved

Without a subscription it was hard to see what you could try, how far you could go, and how to start a trial with confidence.

How to use it

  1. On the “Grand-mère” home page, follow the concrete search examples to get started.
  2. Find the free-access banner (e.g. “5 credits left…”): each access = one plant or reference search, or opening one full monograph in the app.
  3. Open your free-access history by tapping that banner.
  4. Beyond the quota, results and records stay as a limited preview, with a clear invite to unlock.
  5. On Pricing, start the 30-day trial (card required; no charge during the trial).
  6. On phone, a free-trial strip stays in the navigation; trial and unlock buttons are more visible.

Problem solved

Comparing plans and starting a trial took too many steps, especially on a phone.

How to use it

  1. Open Pricing in the menu.
  2. Read side by side what each plan includes (in-app monographs, documented uses, references…).

Problem solved

Plant search lacked clarity: filters hard to see, dense results, scattered view toggles, and little help for “aspirin-like” style properties.

How to use it

  1. Run a plant search: filters sit under the bar; two-column cards show match counters.
  2. Show or hide filters with the memorised switch; a summary recalls active filters.
  3. Each filter (including extraction modes) can include, exclude, or stay off.
  4. Place Images/Text and Card/Pro views more easily for how you read.
  5. If only one record matches, it opens straight away (1 free access in discovery mode).
  6. “Aspirin-like”, “leucovorin-like” and similar properties are better detected and highlighted.
  7. Browse the A–Z index faster with alphabetic navigation.
  8. Compare the captures: before (side filters) and after (filters under the bar, clearer results).

A founder asked to find in vivo and in vitro mentions more efficiently in literature linked to plants — and to switch easily between plant and reference search.

How to use it

  1. Under Search, choose References (or switch from plant search).
  2. Enter an English theme or documented indication (e.g. lung cancer) — source literature is mostly English, so keyword highlights show correctly.
  3. Turn on In vivo / In vitro filters, extraction modes, or lock to a plant.
  4. Load 10 more results or load all as needed.
  5. Save a search (plants or references) to relaunch later.
  6. Favourite references and open them in My references.
  7. Multi-word English search is more reliable on scientific sources.

  1. Sign in, open the Account menu (profile icon).
  2. Choose My references.
  3. Find, annotate, and organise papers and abstracts you keep for a theme or a plant.

Favourite plants stayed a flat list — awkward for a course, a team, or a theme file.

How to use it

  1. Open My plants from the Account menu (profile icon).
  2. In the Groups column, create a group (by theme, workshop, dossier…) and add favourite plants.
  3. On a group, open the ⋮ menu and choose Share group to create a link to pass on.

  1. Open a monograph in the app.
  2. Under the favourite heart, tap the share icon.

  1. Open a plant article in Updates.
