Glossary, publications, and the guide preview load immediatelyGuides
These public pages ran through the app, so the first paint was slower, and the Updates header did not always match the app menu after login.
  1. Open Guides → Glossary, Publications E. Nossin, or the microdosing guide preview: the page is ordinary web HTML, without waiting for the app.
  2. The full microdosing guide stays behind login or a subscription (Guides → Microdosing guide once signed in).
  3. On Updates, after login, you get the same menu as in the app (Search, Guides, and Admin if you have access).
Benefit : Read the glossary, publications, and guide preview faster, with the same menu everywhere.
Glossary: figures and recovered termsGuides · Glossary
Some botanical definitions and lab abbreviations from the source file were missing, and the anatomy plates were not shown.
  1. Open Guides → Glossary.
  2. Search fleur, fruit, rhizome, tubercule, sessile or candidose: the definition now includes the source figure.
  3. Lab abbreviations (ACS, ATCC…) and medical terms (pyroptosis, diaphoretic) are listed too.
Benefit : Read plant-part and lab terms with the same plates as in Emmanuel’s source file.
E. Nossin publications (Guides)Guides
Emmanuel Nossin’s articles and books were not listed on the site.
  1. Open Guides → Publications E. Nossin — no subscription required.
  2. Browse sole-authored work, co-authored papers, and other books.
  3. Search a title, year, or co-author.
Benefit : Find the author’s publications from the same menu as the glossary and the guide.
Public glossary (Guides)Guides
Terms used in the monographs and the guide had no on-site definitions.
  1. Open Guides → Glossary — no subscription required.
  2. Search a term, filter by category (medical, botany, ethnopharmacology, abbreviations) or letter.
  3. In the microdosing guide, the first use of a term opens a short preview, then the glossary.
Benefit : Look up alcoolature, IC50, mesocarp and other site terms without leaving the page.
New sheet for two monthsSearch · plant file
A plant just published still said “Updated”, as if the file had already been revised.
  1. Open search (cards) or a plant monograph.
  2. If first publish is less than two months ago and the plant has not been republished, the clock reads “New sheet”.
  3. The first published update switches the label back to “Updated”.
Benefit : See new catalogue sheets at a glance, without mixing them up with plants that already have a later update.
