Thus, the aim of this study was to evaluate the anti-cancer properties of an ellagitannin-enriched fraction (EEF) from FV leaves (characterized by HPLC/PDA/ESI-MSn), in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG2).

      Excerpt Ethanolic extract of Fragaria vesca (EFFV) fruits was prepared by percolation method & subjected to oral toxicity testing using OECD guidelines. EFFV at 500 mg/kg showed significant amelioration of experimentally induced IBD, which may be attributed to its antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties.
