Excerpt This study assesses the effects of mango tree (Mangifera indica L.) extracts (stem bark - MSB & leaves - ML) on lipases (pancreatic lipase, lipoprotein lipase & hormone-sensitive lipase). In addition, MSB&d ML increased fécal fat excretion &d reduced serum glucose & insulin levels and downregulated some obesity-related genes(LPL, hormone-sensitive lipase, fatty acid synthase, resistin) in liver and epididymal fat.
