      Excerpt the leaves of Annona reticulata have been used extensively in folk medicine; however, its wound healing potential is yet to be explored. Our aim was to investigate the wound healing ability of AR leaf extract in vitro & in streptozotocin induced diabetic mice model.

      Excerpt Objective: The present study has been designed to determine the effectiveness of Hydroalcoholic extract of leaves of A reticulata for potential Hypoglycemic activity against streptozotocin (STZ) induced hyperglycemic rats. Results & discussion: Results of the studies showed that, the fasting blood glucose level in hyperglycemic & in oral glucose tolerance test, showed a significant (p<0.05) decrease at defined time points, while the observed biochemical & physical parameters showed a good agreement with Hypoglycemic property of the extract.
