      Extrait the leaves of Annona reticulata have been used extensively in folk medicine; however, its wound healing potential is yet to be explored. Our aim was to investigate the wound healing ability of AR leaf extract in vitro & in streptozotocin induced diabetic mice model.

      Extrait Objective: The present study has been designed to determine the effectiveness of Hydroalcoholic extract of leaves of A reticulata for potential Hypoglycemic activity against streptozotocin (STZ) induced hyperglycemic rats. Results & discussion: Results of the studies showed that, the fasting blood glucose level in hyperglycemic & in oral glucose tolerance test, showed a significant (p<0.05) decrease at defined time points, while the observed biochemical & physical parameters showed a good agreement with Hypoglycemic property of the extract.

      Extrait The effect of ethanolic extract of seeds of Annona reticulata, was investigated in rats to evaluate antiulcer activity by using pyloric ligation ulcer model & the phytochemical studies were also carried out. Ethanolic extract of seeds of A reticulata significantly (p < 0.001) decreased gastric volume secretion (2.1 mL), total acidity (92 mEq/L/100 g), & ulcer index (33.4).
