    • Selon Auteur (2016)

Extrait In the present study, an attempt was made to investigate the anti-diabetic activity of B Arundinacea leaves extracts in different dosages (200, 500 & 600 mg/kg b.w.) in alloxan induced diabetic albino rats. As an alternative medicine to treat diabetes mellitus, many herbal drugs are being studied throughout the world.

    • Selon Auteur (2022)

Extrait arundinacea extract has also been utilized in the synthesis of nanoparticles which have enhanced the biological activities such as anticancer, antidiabetic, antimicrobial & antiglycation. In folk medicine, it has been utilized for various inflammatory disorder, strangury, wounds, piles, dislodgement of worms, cirrhosis, hard tumour and diabetes mellitus.

    • Selon KUMAR S (2012)

Extrait Ethanolic extract of the root part of B arundinacea (Poaceae) was evaluated for its hypoglycemic potential in normoglycemic rats followed by alloxan and glucose loaded hyperglycemic rats by single dose and multidose administration. The study report showed that the plant extract significantly (p<0.05 to p<0.01) reduces blood glucose level both in normoglycemic and hyperglycemic rats induced by alloxan and oral glucose loaded methods till the end of the course of experiment.

    • Selon Joshi R (2009)

Extrait The hypoglycemic effect of the extract was statistically significant with an oral dose of 500 mg/kg in euglycemic rats at 30 minutes & 1000 mg /kg in hyperglycemic rats at 3 hours, & was comparable to that of standard antidiabetic agent, glibenclamide 0.9 mg/k,. Summary The hypoglycemic activity of the aqueous extract of the leaves of Bambusa arundinacea (Family: Poaceae) was evaluated.

    • Selon Auteur (2011)

Extrait The phenolic content of water & butanolic extract was 2.79 and 4.26 mg GAE/g powder respectively, whereas, the flavonoid content of aqueous extract was higher ( 6.17mM quercetin equivalent/g powder ) than butanolic extract ( 2.54 mM quercetin equivalent/g powder). In present study, we aspire to assess total phenolic & flavonoid content and in vitro antioxidant & metal chelating property of aqueous extract (AE), methanolic extract (ME) & butanolic extract (BE) of mature bamboo leaves by various assays.

    • Selon Thamizharasan S (2015)

Extrait Antibacterial & antifungal efficiency of Bambusa arundinacea seed extracts were examined using hexane, acetone & Hydroethanol as solvents & tested against human pathogens such as Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Aspergillus flavus using Disc diffusion method. arundinacea seeds could be a possible source to obtain new and effective compound to treat bacterial & fungal infections.

    • Selon Sriraman S (2013)

Extrait Aim of our study is to evaluate the total antioxidant capacity & antibacterial activity of leaf extracts of Bambusa arundinacea, Methods: Bambusa arundinacea leaves were collected, powdered & extracted with hexane, ethyl acetate, ethanol & hydroalcohol (70% ethanol) separately. This supports the folkloric usage of the plant & suggests it possess compounds with antibacterial properties that can be used as antimicrobial agents in new drugs for the therapy of infectious diseases.

    • Selon Zubair M (2013)

Extrait The results of the present study confirmed the considerable antimicrobial & haemolytic activities of the plant Bambusa arundinacea,. Bambusa arundinacea locally known as Bans or bamboo, a perennial fastest growing plant.

    • Selon KAUR HP (2015)

Extrait KAUR HP et al, Phytochemical, Antioxidant & Antibacterial Studies on Bambusa arundinacea and Mangifera indica, Int Jl of Pure & Appli BioSci, 3(3) :87-93, 2015.-Abstract; This study was formulated to check the phytochemical, antioxidant, antibacterial potential of Bambusa arundinacea (Bamboo) and Mangifera indica (Mango) trees. arundinacea & ethanolic as well as methanolic extracts of both the tested plants were more effective than aqueous extracts due to better extraction power of organic solvents.

    • Selon Auteur (2022)

Extrait arundinacea extract has also been utilized in the synthesis of nanoparticles which have enhanced the biological activities such as anticancer, antidiabetic, antimicrobial & antiglycation. Bambusa arundinacea, commonly known as Bamboo belongs to family Poaceae (Gramineae).
