Selon Lai SC (2009)
Extrait In this study, we evaluated the analgesic effect of methanol extract from Desmodium triflorum DC (MDT) by using animal models of acetic acid-induced writhing response & formalin test. In order to study the anti-inflammatory mechanism of MDT, we detected the activities of glutathione peroxidase (GPx) & glutathione reductase (GRd) in the liver, the levels of interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-alpha), malondialdehyde (MDA) & nitric oxide (NO) in the edema paw tissue.

Extrait Considering the current increase of antibiotic resistance, as alternatives to try the alkaloids from DDesmodium triflorum as antimicrobial compounds by molecular docking studies. Among all the compounds indole-3-acetic acid & hypaphorine showed very good scores with the proteins 1UAG, 2X5O, 3UDI & 3TYE bacterial proteins.

Extrait Considering the current increase of antibiotic resistance, as alternatives to try the alkaloids from DDesmodium triflorum as antimicrobial compounds by molecular docking studies. This shows that the antibacterial activity of the compounds of DT may be due to the inhibition of cell wall synthesis as well as protein & nucleic acid synthesis of the bacteria.

Selon Liu C (2013)
Extrait Modem pharmacological studies have showed that the Desmodium species have antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, diuretic, antipyretic, analgesic & choleretic activity. This article mainly has reviewed the research advances of chemical constituents & biological activities of Desmodium species since 2003.

Selon Ajitha Rani R (2011)
Extrait Preliminary phytochemical analysis of Desmodium triflorum DC belonging to the family Polypodiaceae was examined using aqueous, ethanolic, methanolic & chloroform extracts. Various extracts of this plant material were also subjected for the in vitro antibacterial activity against EC & SA using agar cup method.
