    • Selon Cordero C (2009)

Extrait Planta Med, 70(6):551-5, 2004-Abstract: Phytochemical analysis of the leaves of Acnistus arborescens (Solanaceae) resulted in the isolation of two new epimeric withaphysalins (17S,20R,22R)-5-beta, 6-beta: 18,20-diepoxy-4-beta,18-dihydroxy-1-oxowitha-24-enolide (2, 18R & 18S), together with the known withaphysalin F (1, 18R &18S). Compounds 1 & 2 dis-played potent cytotoxic activities against several cancer cell lines with IC50 values in the range of 0.20 to 1.46 microg/mL for 1 & 0.89 to 8.08 microg/mL for 2.

    • Selon Veras ML (2004)

    • Selon Steinbrueck C (2019)

Extrait Bioassay-guided fractionation of Acnistus arborescens (Solanaceae) organic extract afforded two anti-inflammatory withanolides: 2,3-Dihydro-3β-O-sulfate withacnistin (1) & 2,3-Dihydro-3β-O-sulfate withaferin A (2) showing IC50 values of 1.0 ± 0.1 & 14 ± 1 μM respectively in a LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 murine macrophage assay. These compounds were also evaluated against two selected cancer cell lines showing significant cytotoxicity.

    • Selon Veras ML (2004)

      Extrait Three withaphysalins, rel-(17S,20R,22R)-5 beta, 6 beta:18,20-diepoxy-4 beta-hydroxy-1,18-dioxo-witha-2,24-dienolide(withaphysalin M) (1), rel-(17S,20R,22R)-5 beta,6 beta:18,20-diepoxy-4 beta-hydroxy-18-ethoxy-1-oxowitha-2,24-dienolide (withaphysalin F ethyl ether, withaphysalin O) (2), & rel-(17S,20R,22R)-5 beta,6 beta:18,20-diepoxy-4 beta-hydroxy-1,18-dioxowitha-24-enolide (withaphysalin N) (3), were isolated from the leaves of Acnistus arborescens. Compounds 1 & 2 displayed potent cytotoxic activity against a panel of human cancer cell line.

    • Selon GONZALEZ, MC (2007)

Extrait Some extracts & fractions of Acnistus arborescens, Baccharis latifolia, Myrcianthes leucoxila, Physalis peruviana & Salvia rubescens were examined for antiinflammatory activity in vivo models as mice ear oedema, carrageenan induced rat paw oedema, zymosan injected-rat air pouch & Freund's adjuvant arthritis. Later, these fractions were evaluated in carrageenan induced rat paw oedema model & those that showed greater activity have been selected to be evaluated in the zymosan injected-mice air pouch model.
