Extrait Methylene chloride, benzene, chloroform, ethyl acetate & water extracts were applied to determine their growth inhibition against Phomopsis vexans, Phytophthora capsici, Fusarium oxysporum, Rhizoctonia solani & Sclerotium rolfsii. Allamanda cathartica leaf extract was made in water at room temperature (25 ± 2 °C) as well as in a number of less polar to highly polar solvents like methylene chloride, benzene, chloroform & ethyl acetate at their boiling point, that means, at refluxing temperature (40 ± 2 °C).

Extrait rolfsii by using SEM showed that surface of fungal mycelia treated with extract looked smaller in size & shrunk, & leakage of cell wall became visible; while at the control, the surface of mycelia remained intact & thrived perfectly. The study aimed to evaluate the synergistic activity of the leaves extracts of Mansoa alliacea & Allamanda cathartica as an alternative control of stem rot disease in peanut plants.

Extrait The methanolic extract of Allamanda cathartica Linn & Piper nigrum Linn were prepared and their anti-inflammatory activity was investigated using the carageenan – induced paw edema model in rats individually & in two different combinations. The isobolograms revealed synergistic interactions between Allamanda cathartica & Piper nigrum extracts, as both the combinations fell below the additivity line.

Extrait Taking together, the results of the present study disclose that plumieride exhibited a significant efficacy in attenuating the parameters of experimental ulcerative colitis, which may be mediated by an antioxidant & anti-inflammatory effect. This study aimed to investigate the potential effect of plumieride, an iridoid glycoside isolated from Alamanda cathartica flowers, against dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis in mice.

Selon Nayak S (2006)
Extrait The histological study of the granulation tissue of the Laurus nobilis treated animals showed larger number of inflammatory cells, & lesser collagen when compared with the Allamanda treated group of animals. Histological studies of the granulation tissue from the Allamanda treated group showed the presence of a lesser number of inflammatory cells, & increased collagen formation than the control.
