    • Selon SACHIN KUMAR (s.d.)

Extrait The effect of HEAB was investigated for anti-inflammatory activity using Carrageenan induced paw edema (acute), cotton pellet granuloma (subacute) and formaldéhyde induced arthritis (chronic) method. To study the anti-inflammatory activity of a hydroethanolic extract of Alternanthera Brasiliana leaves (HEAB).

    • Selon Melo-Coutinho HD (2018)

Extrait The aim of this work was to evaluate the phytochemical profile, the toxic effect using the Drosophila melanogaster animal model & the anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial effect of the Alternanthera brasiliana ethanol extract. The anti-inflammatory effect was determined by neurogenic & antioedematogenic assays, and the antimicrobial activity was assayed using a microdilution method to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the EEAB alone & in association with antibiotics.

    • Selon Lagrota MHC (1994)

Extrait brasiliana, obtained through different procedures, showed anti-HSV activity.

    • Selon Osmond C Enechi (s.d.)

Extrait Alternanthera brasiliana belongs to the family, Amaranthaceae and is popularly known as Brazilian joy weed. brasiliana is rich in natural antioxidants and thus justify its use in folk medicine especially in the management of free radical-mediated disorders.

    • Selon Barua CC (s.d.)

Extrait Barua CC et al, Wound healing activity of Alternanthera brasiliana-Kuntze & its anti oxidant profiles in experimentally induced diabetic rats.

    • Selon PEREIRA D (2007)

Extrait The results demonstrate that the crude extract and some fractions showed moderate activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Saccharomyces cerevisiae & Prototheca zopffi. brasiliana have a weak antimicrobial activity that not support the ethnopharmacological indication of the plant for the treatment of infection diseases nor it's popular names such as "Penicillin" and "terramycin" in Brazil.

    • Selon Melo-Coutinho HD (2018)

Extrait However, when the EEAB was associated with gentamicin, a synergism against all bacterial strains assayed was observed: Staphylococcus aureus (SA10), Escherichia coli (EC06) & Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA24). The aim of this work was to evaluate the phytochemical profile, the toxic effect using the Drosophila melanogaster animal model & the anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial effect of the Alternanthera brasiliana ethanol extract.
