    • Selon Abel EE (2015)

Extrait This study was aimed to determine the effectiveness of synthesized gold nanoparticles of an ethnobotanically & medicinally important plant species Cassia tora against colon cancer cells & to find its antibacterial & antioxidant activities. CT SMs conjugate gold nanoparticles showed enhanced bioavailability, antioxidant & anticancer effect against colon cancer cell line (Col320).

Extrait Prabhu A et al, Anticancer Activity of Friedelin Isolated from Ethanolic Leaf Extract of Cassia tora on HeLa & HSC-1 Cell Lines, Indian J of Applied Res, 3(10):1-4, 2011-Cassia tora, an annual shrub growing in the wild is traditionally well-known for its therapeutic properties against certain human diseases. IC (50) values of ethanolic leaf extract of CT on two human cancer cell lines, HeLa & HSC-1 were determined using Trypan blue exclusion Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium assays.

    • Selon Chen S (s.d.)

Extrait The antitumor activity of Cassia tora was investigated in mice that were fed various concentrations of the compound. A high concentration of CT (200 mg/kg b.w.) significantly (P<0.05) increased the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α & interleukin-1β cytokines compared with those of the mice that were treated with 100 & 50 mg/kg b.w.
