    • Selon Parisotto E (2012)

Extrait The present study aims to provide a comparative evaluation of the antitumor activity from Cordia verbenacea extracts obtained by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) with CO2 at 300 bar & 50 °C & by classical organic solvent extraction (CE) with ethanol. Antitumor in vitro assays were performed for both extracts & the results demonstrate that the supercritical extract causes superior reduction in tumor cells viability & proliferation, whereas the most probable type of cell death is apoptosis.

    • Selon Melo CBP (2021)

Extrait Because of the intricate network linking inflammation, oxidative stress, & skin cancer, these results also indicate the importance of further studies elucidating a possible role of C. verbenacea in the prevention of UVB-induced skin cancer and evaluating a potential synergy between CVE & sunscreens in topical products against UVB damaging effects to the skin,.

  2. État inflammatoire : arthrose, arthrite, rhumatisme

    • Selon Bodini RB (2020)

Extrait Due to its pharmacological properties (antioxidant & anti-inflammatory), it can be used in the development of herbal medicines by different forms of administration such as orally disintegrating films (ODFs), which would facilitate the systemic release of its active ingredients. The films were characterized by microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, mechanical properties, muco-adhesiveness, in vitro disintegration, in vitro release of flavonoids, antioxidant, & anti-inflammatory activities of the films.

    • Selon Roldao EF (2008)

Extrait Cordia verbenacea is a medicinal plant popularly used in Brazil as anti-inflammatory, antiulcer & anti-rheumatic agent without detailed pharmacological & toxicological studies.

    • Selon Ferreira -Matias EF (2013)

Extrait The crude extract is utilized in popular cultures in the form of hydroalcoholic, decoctions & infusions, mainly as antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory & analgesic agents. Cordia verbenacea DC., is one of the species of plants currently exploited for the purpose of producing a phytotherapeutic product extracted from its leaves.

    • Selon Carvalho PM JR (2004)

Extrait The aerial parts of this plant have been used in folk medicine since colonial times for their anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and healing properties.

    • Selon Sertié JA (2005)

Extrait In the present study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory activity in sub-chronic animal models of a crude leaf lyophilized extract when administered by oral route or topically applied, & concomitantly, its analgesic potency & toxicity to the fetus. We have already described the anti-inflammatory properties of CV & its low toxicity in different acute animal models.

    • Selon Roldao EF (2008)

Extrait Material & methods: Antiulcer activity of plant extract was evaluated using ethanol/HCl, ethanol & piroxicam-induced gastric lesions methods. Results: The ethanol leaf extract shows a potent antiulcer activity in the ethanol/HCl and absolute ethanol-induced gastric lesions.

    • Selon Sertié JA (1991)

Extrait The antiinflammatory effects & gastrotoxicity of a lyophilized 70% ethanol extract of the leaves of Cordia verbenacea were investigated through experimental models in rats & mice. At antiinflammatory doses, the extract showed an important protective effect on the gastric mucosa, reducing significantly the number of gastric lesions.

    • Selon Sertié JA (2005)

Extrait Its leaves have been used in folk medicine for their anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory & cicatrizing activities. Cordia verbenacea is a perennial bush plant that grows widely along the southeastern coast of Brazil.
