      Excerpt The hepatoprotective activity of Conyza bonariensis ethanol extract was studied against paracetamol induced hepatotoxicity in mice. The results showed that an extract of C.B (250 mg/kg & 500 mg/kg) produced (p<0.05) decline in paracetamol induced liver marker enzymes & total bilirubin, but its 750 mg/kg showed remarkable decline in ALT, AST, ALP & TB levels, compared to the reference levels of silymarin & results were supported by histopathology of liver section.

      Excerpt parapsilosis), 17 dermatophytes (6 Trichophyton rubrum, 6 Trichophyton mentagrophytes, 5 Microsporum canis) & 6 Staphylococcus aureus. Conclusions: Results allow to conclude that the CB tincture displays antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus & antifungal activity against the main fungi causing superficial infections, such as dermatophytes, Candida & Malassezia.
