Extrait The present study was designed to investigate the antidiarrhoeal activity as well as phytochemical screening of ethanolic extract of three Bangladeshi medicinal plants namely Diospyros blancoi (leaf), Acacia nilotica(bark) & Hibiscus sabdariffa (Seed & calyxes). Therefore, the obtained results tend to suggest the antidiarrhoeal activities of the crude ethanolic extract of the leaves of DB & that of bark of the AN thus provide the scientific basis for the traditional uses of these plants as modality for diarrhea.
