    • Selon SHARMA V (2008)

Extrait Ethanolic extract of seeds of Apium graveolens showed a remarkable in vitro cytotoxicity against four human cancer cell lines of colon, CNS, oral & cervical origin. Results revealed that the most significant cytotoxic effect was observed in case of chloroform soluble & n-butanol soluble fractions as both inhibited the growth of eight human cancer cell lines of lung, liver, colon, CNS & ovarian origin.

    • Selon Sultana S (2005)

Extrait The chemopreventive activity of methanolic extract of Apium graveolens seeds (celery seeds) has been investigated against Solt Farber protocol of hepatocarcinogenesis, oxidative stress & induction of positive foci of gamma-GT in the liver of Wistar rats. 2-AAF administration in diet with PH in rats resulted in increased hepatic ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) activity and a consequent increase in the rate of DNA synthesis when compared to saline treated control group while pretreatment of rats with celery seeds extract resulted in inhibition of aforementioned parameters dose dependently.

    • Selon Ahmed QS (2012)

Extrait The present study was carried out to explore protective effects of ethanolic extract of Apium graveolens (celery seeds) on Ritonavir, a protease inhibitor induced dyslipidemia. Conclusion: Above results suggest that ethanolic extract of AG seeds possess potential for improving blood lipid profile & liver lipids deranged by Ritonavir when given concurrently.

    • Selon Hussein EM (2007)

Extrait Present study was designed to evaluate anticancer effect of Apium graveolens seed extracts (aqueous, ethanolic & hexane extracts) in vitro on two cell lines (RD & L20B) using different concentrations of A. The results revealed a clear cytotoxic activity of those extracts on growth of RD cancer cell line, & the effect was concentration-dependent.

    • Selon Köken T (2016)

Extrait Apium graveolens has been shown to inhibit the growth of a variety of cancer tissues. graveolens on the human prostatic carcinoma cell line LNCaP.

    • Selon MANSI KAMAL M (2014)

Extrait The aim of the present study is to assess the effects of ethanol extract derived from seeds of Apium graveolens on fertility of diabetic male rats. After thirty days of treatments, all rats were sacrificed & level of blood glucose, insulin, testosterone, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) & luteinizing hormone (LH), weight of testis and epididymis and sperm count and motility were measured.

    • Selon Kumar V (2012)

Extrait Stress represents a reaction of the body to a stimulus that tends to alter its normal physiological equilibrium or homeostasis, extreme stress leads to various complications like dépression, anxiety, immunosuppressant & endocrine disorder including diabetes mellitus, ulcérative colitis, obesity etc. The aqueous (200 mg kg-1) & ethanolic (400 mg kg-1) extracts concomitant administration have shown increase in anoxia stress tolerance time & swimming endurance time as compared to control group & also there was marked decrease in blood glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides & BUN level as compare to stress control group in cold stress model.

    • Selon Adelakun EA (2021)

Extrait The results suggest that the Nigerian AG plant could be considered a good source of phthalides which are known for their nutraceutical properties such as anti-oxidant, antitumor, anti- platelet aggregation, hypotensive, hypoglycemic & hypolipidemic properties.

    • Selon Mansi Kamal (2009)

Extrait The results have given a considerable agreement to the traditional use of AG in the treatment of hyperlipidemia; it could possibly lead to appropriate changes in blood lipid profiles.

    • Selon Ahmed QS (2012)
