    • Selon KUBATKA P (2020)

Extrait Assessment of epigenetic changes in rat tumor cells in vivo showed a significant decrease in lysine methylation status of H3K4m3 & H3K9m3 in the high-dose treated group, a dose-dependent increase in H4K16ac levels (H4K20m3 was not changed), down-regulations of miR21 & miR155 in low-dose cinnamon groups (miR22 & miR34a were not modulated), & significant reduction of the methylation status of two out of five gene promoters ATM & TIMP3 (PITX2, RASSF1, PTEN promoters were not changed). Comprehensive oncology research suggests an important role of phytochemicals or whole plant foods in the modulation of signaling pathways associated with anticancer action.

It was found that the extract of the RSDM formula at 50 mg/kg, per oral, showed significant inhibitory effect (p < 0.05) on granuloma formation comparable to indomethacin, a standard non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (5 mg/kg).

    • Selon Pandey M (2015)

Extrait In the present study, ethanol & aqueous extracts of leaf galls of Cinnamomum verum were prepared to evaluate the antioxidant activity using 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl free radical scavenging assay and superoxide radical scavenging assay with ascorbic acid as a standard, and analgesic activity by tail immersion test & acetic acid-induced writhing test methods using diclofenac sodium as the reference drug. For analgesic activity, ethanol extract showed the maximum time required for response against thermal stimuli (6.75±0.47 s) & maximum % of writhing inhibition (44.57%) when compared to aqueous extract (5.25±0.48 s & 32.61%), whereas diclofenac showed response in 7.25±0.25 s 67.39% inhibition in tail immersion & writhing tests, respectively.
