Extrait This study aimed to evaluate the effects of (CS) fruit extract on NASH compared to fenofibrate & explored the related molecular mechanism.Results: In the rats (n = 40) model of NASH, biochemical and histopathological examinations showed that liver steatosis, inflammation, & hepatic fibrosis were markedly attenuated in response to CS & fenofibrate interventions. In conclusion, CS has favorable therapeutic effects for NASH, which was associated with ameliorating steatosis & fibrosis via regulation of the DNL & β-oxidation pathway genes.

Extrait In this present context, one traditional medicinal plant namely Cleome viscosa was selected & its antioxidant effect by DPPH, ABTS & Nitric oxide scavenging assay methods, cytotoxic & in vitro anticancer effects in different fractions of solvent were evaluated phyto-constituents.The results of studies show that the plant has good antioxidant activity low cytotoxic effect & good anticancer properties. viscosa has less cytotoxic activity compared to other extracts & also Cleome viscose whole plant ethyl acetate fraction showed potent toxicity with CTC50 of 130.00±8.66 µg/ml.

The antimicrobial activity was evaluated by the broth microdilution method to obtain the minimum inhibitory (MIC) & microbicidal (MMC) concentrations against 17 species, including bacteria & yeasts.
