    • Selon KAUR G (2017)

Extrait C.nucifera inflorescence (CnI) has been reported in the literature to be useful in the treatment of diarrhoea, dysentery, diabetes, & dyspepsia. Objective: To evaluate antidiabetic activity of CnI in combination with metformin in Streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic rats.

    • Selon Emojevwe V (2018)

Extrait The Anti-diabetic effects of Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Husk were studied on 21 alloxan-induced diabetic rats which were randomly grouped into three (n=7). It was therefore concluded that CN husk tea has a significant hypoglycemic & anti-diabetic effects in alloxan-induced diabetes.

    • Selon Renjith RS (2012)

Extrait Renjith RS et al, Young inflorescence of Cocos nucifera contributes to improvement of glucose homeostasis & antioxidant status in diabetic rats.

    • Selon Saranya S (2014)

Extrait The present study is aimed to evaluate the antidiabetic & antioxidant nature of Cocos nucifera flowers extract in STZ induced diabetic rats. Oral administration of CN flower extract (300 mg/kg b.w/day) to diabetic rats for 30 days significantly reduced the levels of blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, urea, uric acid & creatinine.

    • Selon Kabra MP (2012)

Extrait Cocos nucifera flower extract (CNFE) & coconut oil (CO) at a dose of 300 mg/kg body weight for 15 days, suppressed the elevated blood glucose and lipid levels in alloxan induce diabetic rats. The ethanolic extract of C nucifera flowers & fruit oil was administered orally at a dose level of 300mg/kg body weight and compared their effect with Glibenclamide for chronic study (15 days).

  2. Cancer : chemoprevention

    Partie usitée : Fruit.

    • Selon Dev S (2017)

Extrait This study revealed the antioxidant & anticancer activities of the ethanolic extract of the tender fruits of Cocos nucifera. In DMBA and croton oil-induced skin cancer in model mice, the extract significantly decreased the number, size, yield and burden of tumor when compared with carcinogenic control.

    • Selon Khonkarn R (2010)

Extrait We concluded that the EA fraction of rambutan peel is a promising resource for potential novel antioxidant agents whereas the hexane fraction of coconut peel may contain novel anticancer compounds.

    • Selon Koscheck PR (2007)

Extrait Koscheck PR et al, the husk fiber of Cocos nucifera L.

    • Selon HEENATAJ B (2017)

Extrait It is well known for its effective properties such as antitumor antioxidant, antimicrobial, antidotal, Antiseptic, Bactericidal, etc.

    • Selon Lima EBC (2015)

Extrait nucifera have some biological effects, such as antihelminthic, anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, antioxidant, antifungal, antimicrobial, & antitumor activities. Cocos nucifera (L.) (Arecaceae) is commonly called the “coconut tree” & is the most naturally widespread fruit plant on Earth.

  3. Rhumatisme, arthrose, arthrite, oedeme

    • Selon Zakaria ZA (2006)

Extrait nucifera as antipyretic, anti-inflammatory & wound healing agents. The fresh juice & aqueous kernel extract of C.N exhibited significant (p<0.05) anti-inflammatory & antipyretic activities & promote wound healing with the latter producing a more effective effects in all assays used.

    • Selon Ilegbedion GI (2013)

Extrait Ilegbedion GI et al, ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY OF COCOS NUCIFERA WATER & OIL, Pacific J of Med Sci, 11: 2, 2013,.

Extrait Dua K et al, Antiinflammatory, antibacterial and analgesic potential of Cocos nucifera L: A review.

    • Selon Anosike CA (2010)

Extrait From the results obtained, rats treated with 100 and 200mg/kg of the extract showed significant reduction of oedema at the later phase of inflammation and also reduced the ulcer induced by indomethacin, with 100mg/kg and 200mg/kg doses having an ulcer inhibition of 65.4% and 67.9% respectively; 400mg/kg of the extract increased the paw oedema of the animals & also evinced an increase in ulcération when compared to control. This suggests that the extract at low doses has potential anti-inflammatory & antiulcerogenic effect.

    • Selon Lima EBC (2015)

Extrait nucifera have some biological effects, such as antihelminthic, anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, antioxidant, antifungal, antimicrobial, & antitumor activities. In addition, other properties such as antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, cardioprotective, antiseizure, cytotoxicity, hepatoprotective, vasodilation, nephroprotective, & anti-osteoporosis effects were also reported.
