    • Selon Delorme D (2005)

Extrait The NOD (non-obese diabetic) mouse is currently regarded as an excellent animal model of human Type 1 diabetes. Based on this hypothesis, & the fact that the herb, Echinacea, is a well demonstrated immunostimulant of NK cells in normal mice/humans, we aimed to investigate, in NOD mice, the effect of short term (days) & long term (months) daily dietary administration of Echinacea, on the absolute levels of NK cells, & five other classes of hemopoietic & immune cells, in the bone marrow and spleen.

    • Selon Chiou SY (2017)

Extrait The extraction yield, total phenols, Caffeic acid derivatives (CAD), & antioxidant properties of 50% ethanolic Echinacea purpurea flower extract were determined. purpurea extract & CAD have good potential for managing hyperglycemia & hypertension.

    • Selon Aarland RC (2017)

Extrait Materials & methods: Density, dry matter, phenols (Folin-Ciocalteu method), flavonoids (AlCl3method), alkylamides (GC-MS analysis), antioxidant capacity (DPPH a&ABTS methods), antiproliferative effect (SRB assay), anti-inflammatory effect (paw oedema assay, 11 days/Wistar rats; 0.4 mL/kg) & hypoglycaemic effect (33 days/Wistar rats; 0.4 mL/kg) were determined in three Echinacea extracts which were labelled as A, B & C (A, roots of Echinacea purpurea L. Moench; B, roots, leaves, flowers & seeds of Echinacea purpurea; C, aerial parts & roots of Echinacea purpurea & roots of Echinacea angustifolia DC).

    • Selon Mao CF (2018)

Extrait Echinacea purpurea ethanol extract (EE) contains phenolic acid & isobutylamides had been proven to ameliorate diabetic complications. The results show that the nano-EE5 can improve hyperglycemia, insulin resistance, and plasma fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF 21) resistance.

Extrait Moreover, the immunomodulating properties of the mixture in murine macrophages against antioxidant & inflammatory stimuli & its antiviral efficacy against the PR8/H1N1 influenza virus were assayed. In the present study, we developed a mixture of two hydroalcoholic extracts from the aerial parts of Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench (ECP) & the cones of Humulus lupulus L.
