    • Selon Oyagbemi AA (2010)

Extrait This research was designed to investigate the antidiabetic properties of ethanolic extract of Cnidoscolus aconitifolius in alloxan-induced diabetes mellitus in Wistar male albino rats. From this study, CA extract was found to considerably reduce blood glucose & plasma cholesterol levels & progressively increase weight gain in diabetic treated rats confirming its traditional use for the treatment of diabetes.

    • Selon García-Rodríguez RV (2014)

Extrait CC is also used as a traditional remedy for the treatment of diabetes, rheumatism, gastrointestinal disorders a& inflammation-related diseases. C chayamansa Mc V (Euphorbiaceae) is commonly known as 'Chaya' in Central America.

    • Selon IWUJI SC (2014)

Extrait This study investigated the blood glucose lowering efficacy of the chloroform fraction of hydromethanolic leaf extract of Cnidoscolus aconitifolius (CA) compared with Glibenclamide in alloxan-induced diabetic Wistar rats. Effective dose of CA could prevent the rapid hypoglycaemic side effect in glibenclamide usage.

    • Selon Roy DN (2016)

Extrait This study is aimed at investigating the phytocomponents & hypoglycemic effect of ethanolic leaf extract of CA in streptozotocin induced-diabetic mice. Hypoglycemic effect was investigated in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice and a dose dependent reduction in blood glucose level was found to have with huge reduction at a dose of 200 mg/kg from 245.33±13.01 (mg/dl) to 187.03±7.19 (mg/dl) after intraperitoneal administration (p<0.05) of extract.

    • Selon Pillai KK (2012)

Extrait Administration of ethanolic extracts of Cnidoscolus chayamansa significantly prevented Rifampicin-Isoniazid-induced elevation in the levels of serum diagnostic liver marker enzymes aspartate amino transferase (AST), alanine amino transferase (ALT) & alkaline phosphatase (ALP) level in experimental groups of rats. The effect of ethanolic extract of Cnidoscolus chayamansa (Family of Euphorbiaceae) leaves in experimentally drug induced hepatitis in rats.

    • Selon Quintal-Martinez JP (2021)

Extrait In Mexico, Cnidoscolus aconitifolius (Chaya) has been used to treat cardiovascular diseases (CVD).

Extrait The normalization of these effects observed in the serum treated with EECC possesses significant antitumor & hepatoprotective effect of the extracts. Plants of Chayamansa were traditionally used in the treatment of tumors.

    • Selon Manzanilla-Valdès ML (2021)

Extrait Aqueous, ethanolic, methanolic, & ethyl acetate extracts of Cnidoscolus aconitifolius have shown nephroprotective & hepatoprotective potential & can be an alternative to prevent & treat CKD & LD. Chaya extracts are no toxic for renal & hepatic cells,.

    • Selon Pillai KK (2012)

Extrait in India the decoction of Chaya (Cnidoscolus chayamansa) is used as a house hold remedies for diabetics. The alteration in hepatic glycogen content & hepatic glucokinase, hexokinase a&glucose-6-phosphate levels in diabetic rats were partially restored by Ethanolic extracts of CC.

    • Selon Pillai K (2012)

Extrait The present investigation was carried out to evaluate the antitumor activity of Ethanolic extracts of CC in DLA tumor bearing mice. The EECC treated animals at the doses of 200 & 400 mg/kg significantly inhibited the tumor volume, packed cell volume, tumor (viable) cell count and brought back the hematological parameters to more or less normal levels.

    • Selon Pillai K (2012)

Extrait Ethanolic Extract of Cnidoscolus chayamansa (EECC) has been used in traditional & folklore medicine for the treatment of cancer. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of Ethanolic Extract of leaves of C chayamansa (EECC) against intraperitoneally injected Dalton's Ascitic Lymphoma (DAL) cell lines in Swiss albino mice.

    • Selon Pillai K (2014)

Extrait The present study was performed experimentally by Invitro method to examine the anti-cancer activity at various concentration (62.5μg/ml - 1000 μg/ml) of ethanolic extract of the leaves of Cnidoscolus chayamansa against HT-29 (Colon Carcinoma) cell lines using MTT assay method. The anticancer properties of Cnidoscolus chayamansa will provide useful information in the possible application in the treatment of neoplastic therapy & prevention.
