Selon Pracheta (s.d.)
Extrait This idea has prompted to evaluate the hepatoprotective properties of hydroethanolic extract of Euphorbia neriifolia (EN) Linn against N-Nitrosodiethylamine (DENA) induced liver cancer in mice. This study rationalized the ethnomedicinal use of the EN for curing liver cancer.

Selon SHARMA V (2014)
Extrait The aim of this study was to examine the impacts of N-Nitrosodiethylamine (DENA), a potent environment carcinogen on liver tissue of mice which was attenuated by isolated flavonoid & hydro-ethanolic extract of E neriifolia (HEEN) leaves. neriifolia lower (ENL) & higher (ENH) dose & ENF before intoxicated with DENA showed that the liver cells were normal, with very little necrosis (Day 31).

Selon SHARMA V (2012)
Extrait To scrutinize the protective role of hydroethanolic extract of E neriifolia leaves (HEEN) against N-Nitrosodiethylamine (DENA)-induced hepatocarcinogenesis in male Swiss albino mice .METHODS: Experimental mice were pretreated with 150 & 400 mg/kg of HEEN, or 0.5% & 1% of butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) as a standard for 14 d prior to the administration of a single dose of 50 mg/kg of DENA. Levels of xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes such as cytochrome (Cyt) P450 & Cyt b5, activities of reduced glutathione (GSH), glutathione-S-transferase (GST), aspartate amino transaminase (AST), alanine amino transaminase (ALT) & alkaline phosphatase (ALP), & total protein and cholesterol content in the liver tissues were measured to determine the hepatotoxicity caused by DENA.

Selon Pracheta (2011)
Extrait The present study was conducted to investigate the chemopreventive effects of hydroethanolic extract of Euphorbia neriifolia (EN) on N-Nitrosodiethylamine (DENA) induced renal cancer in male Swiss albino mice. This study rationalized the ethnomedicinal use of EN for protection against renal cancer.

Selon SHARMA V (2013)
Extrait This study is an attempt to evaluate the tissue protective efficacy of isolated flavonoid & hydroethanolic extract of Euphorbia neriifolia (HEEN) leaves against N-Nitrosodiethylamine (DENA) induced renal carcinoma. On the other hand, the mice treated with E neriifolia lower (ENL) & higher (ENH) dose & ENF before intoxicated with DENA showed that the renal cells were normal (Day 31).

Extrait MANSURI MI et al, Evaluation of Antidiabetic and Antihyperlipidemic Activity of Euphorbia Neriifolia L in High Fat Diet- Streptozotocin Induced Type-2 Diabetic Model, Int Jl for Pharmaceut Res Scholars, 2(1-1) :83-9, 2013-Abstract Euphorbia neriifolia is traditionally used to treat diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of repeated oral administration of the ethanolic extract of E neriifolia Linn at a dose of (200 and 400 mg/kg) on fasting blood glucose levels and lipid metabolism in streptozotocin induced type-2 diabetic rats.

Selon Mansuri MI (2012)
Extrait Purpose of the study was to evaluate the antidiabetic activity of ethanolic extracts of leaves of E neriifolia in alloxan induced diabetic rats. The extract of Euphorbia neriifolia Linn are having potential in the development of drug for diabetes due to their antidiabetic activity.

Extrait The scavenging activity of 2,2-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl & hydrogen peroxide was used to study the antioxidant activity of hydroalcoholic extract of HAE) Plasma glucose content, lipid profiles, insulin levels, GLUT-4 protein content in muscle homogenates, inhibition of amylase & pancreatic glucosidase, & pancreatic histology were measured in control & diabetic rats. In the present study, the extract from the stem of Euphorbia neriifolia was used to investigate its antioxidant & antidiabetic activity.

Extrait This idea has prompted to evaluate the hepatoprotective properties of hydroethanolic extract of Euphorbia neriifolia (EN) Linn against N-Nitrosodiethylamine (DENA) induced liver cancer in mice. The EN extract significantly restored the antioxidant enzyme level in the liver and exhibited significant dose dependant protective effect against DENA induced liver toxicity, which can be mainly attributed to the antioxidant property of the extract.
