    • Selon Khan SW (2015)

Extrait The study was designed to investigate the effects of Saccharum officinarum juice on oxidative liver injury due to INH in mice. The histo-pathological examination of groups A showed normal liver structure which was deranged in (INH) group B, whereas group C showed significant recovery in histological structure.

    • Selon Wang L (2018)

Extrait Wang L et al, Anti-fibrotic activity of polyphenol-enriched sugarcane extract in rats via inhibition of p38 and JNK phosphorylation, Food & Function, 2 2018-Abstract; Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.), which is one of the most important sources of sugar, is also rich in polyphenolic compounds. Liver fibrosis is the excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix proteins & advanced liver fibrosis, resulting in cirrhosis, liver failure and portal hypertension.

    • Selon Kadam US (2008)

Extrait Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) juice is widely consumed by people of the tropics & subtropics. It has been used to cure jaundice & liver-related disorders in Indian systems of medicine.

    • Selon Alvarez-Henao MA (2022)

Extrait In this work was evaluated the effect of temperature (40–80 °C), flowrate (6–10 ml min−1), pressure (200–400 bar) & co-solvent (0–10% ethanol)on extraction yield & phytosterols (β-sitosterol, campesterol & stigmasterol) concentration. The extract obtained presented a lipidic composition with possible cardiovascular health benefits due to phytosterols, policosanols & unsaturated fatty acids found.

    • Selon Pallavi R (2012)

Extrait sugarcane peel (Saccharum Officinarum) was studied for their total phenol content, total flavanoid content, total anthocyanin content, antioxidant & antiproliferative activities. The data represented in this study demonstrated that the amount of phenolic compound and anthocyanin content of sugarcane peel, & determined the antiproliferative activity of sugarcane peel by cytotoxicity assay which shows 51.2% inhibition HT29 cell line at concentration of 0.625µg/ml.

  2. Infección bacteriana: Pseudomonas putrida, P. mirabilis, P. aeruginosa, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus wernarii, S. aureus

    Parte usada: Hoja.

    • Selon Palaksha MN (2016)

Extrait The different concentrations of chloroform & ethanol extracts (50mg/ml & 100mg/ml) against different Gram negative (Pseudomonas putida ATCC700007 Pseudomonas mirabilis ATCC14153, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC10662) & Gram positive (Bacillus subtilis ATCC11774, Staphylococcus wernari ATCC 27836, Staphylococcus aureus ATCCBAA1026) organisms using well diffusion method, was observed & the results were compared with standard Gentamycin, all the extracts were found to possess significant antibacterial activity. The present work highlights the antibacterial & Anthelmintic activities of Saccharum officinarum leaf extracts.

    • Selon Zhao Y (2015)

Extrait The sugarcane bagasse extract showed bacteriostatic activity against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli & Salmonella typhimurium. Results of sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis suggested the antibacterial mechanism was probably due to the damaged cellular proteins by sugarcane bagasse extract.

    • Selon Uchenna EF (2015)

Extrait Phytochemical analysis & antimicrobial activities of the aqueous ethanolic extract of Saccharum officinarum were carried out. The findings show that the plant bark extract has bactericidal activity & could be used in the control & treatment of bacterial infection especially the gram-negative bacteria.

    • Selon Jayakumari V (2007)

Extrait Plant extracts and antifungal microorganisms were tested singly & in combination for bio control of sugarcane red rot disease (Colletotrichum falcatum) using two sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) cultivars, CoC671 & CoC92061, in pot & field experiments. Although sugarcane- planting materials (setts) treated individually with either Pseudomonas fluorescens Md1 or A.
