    • Selon Aliaño-González MJ (2020)

Extrait Both of them are responsible of interesting properties of the fruit such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant or anticancer.

    • Selon Ferreira Silva D (2014)

Extrait This discovery of the anticancer potential of EO may help in the development of chemopreventive drugs & may have therapeutic effects in the treatment of breast cancer. Açaí is an abundant & much consumed fruit by the Amazon local population, & studies have demonstrated that it is rich in phytochemicals with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, & anticancer activities.

    • Selon Barros L (2015)

Extrait EO seeds extract revealed a high antioxidant (EC50 ranging from 3.6 to 19.4 μg/mL) & cytotoxic activity, being more effective in the cervical carcinoma cell line (HeLa; GI50 = 18 μg/mL); it did not show toxicity for non-tumor cells. The Euterpe oleracea Mart.

    • Selon Heinrich M (2011)

Extrait Euterpe oleracea has been acclaimed to have a wide range of health-promoting & therapeutic benefits due to its reportedly high levels of antioxidants. This is based to a relatively high content of polyphenols, which in turn has been linked to a range of reported (mostly in vitro) antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative & cardioprotective properties.

    • Selon Soares de Almeida Magalhães S (2020)

Extrait Euterpe oleracea Mart. EO leaves, fruits, & oil stand out for their large number of pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antinociceptive, anticancer, anti-atherogenic, and healing activities, protection against metabolic syndromes such as diabetes, hypertension, & hyperlipidemia, and protection of organs such as lung, kidney, liver, heart, & nervous system.

    • Selon da Silva Santos V (2014)

Extrait In view of the high antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties of the exotic Brazilian fruit Euterpe oleracea & its methanolic extract was obtained by solid-phase extraction (SPE). Specifically, the açaí extract at an optimal & nutritionally relevant concentration of 0.1 g/ml prevented Mn-induced oxidative stress by (1) restoring GSH GSSG ratio & net glutamate uptake, (2) protecting astrocytic membranes from lipid peroxidation, & (3) decreasing Mn-induced expression of erythroid 2-related fac-tor (Nrf2) protein.

    • Selon Auteur (2015)

Extrait The seeds of Euterpe oleracea are rich in polyphenols with antihypertensive & antioxidant properties. The increased oxidative damage in the 2K1C group, assessed by lipid peroxidation & protein oxidation, was reduced by ASE, but Enalapril only reduced lipid peroxidation in mesenteric arterial bed (MAB) homogenate.

    • Selon Cavalcante P (2018)

Extrait Euterpe oleracea is a fruit that stands out for presenting this property, & even though Brazil is the largest producer of this fruit, the foreign market has been investing in its exportation for use in both the food & pharmaceutical industries. Thus, it was observed that EO is a fruit rich in anthocyanins, which act by modulating the lipid metabolism to overcome the damage caused in the body by the oxidative stress unleashed by chronic diseases.

    • Selon Martin Magalhães F (2021)

Extrait Our study aimed to investigate the effect of Açaí (Euterpe oleracea Martius) on the antioxidant response in BALB/c mice pretreated with Açaí pulp (200 g/kg) for 14 days. Our results demonstrated the protective effect of EO pulp components on intestinal damage induced by 5-FU, as well as the ability to control the response to oxidative stress, in order to mobilize defense pathways & promote tissue repair,.

    • Selon Oliveira de Souza M (2010)

Extrait Oliveira de Souza M et al, Diet supplementation with acai (Euterpe oleracea Mart.) pulp improves biomarkers of oxidative stress & the serum lipid profile in rats.

  3. Endométriose

    • Selon Machado DE (2016)

Extrait This study investigated the therapeutic potential of Euterpe oleracea extract (açai) on the growth & survival of endometriotic lesions using an experimental model. Our results suggest that açai effectively suppressed the establishment & growth of endometriotic lesions, & this agent is a promising novel pharmacological therapeutic treatment for endometriosis.
