     Extrait niruri] whole plant, Passiflora foetida aerial part, Ardisia elliptica fruit, Morinda citrifolia fruit, Aegle marmelos fruit, Heliotropium indicum whole plant, Stephania venosa [Stephania rotunda] bulb a& Thunbergia laurifolia leaf) were tested for antiproliferative activity against SKBR3 human breast adenocarcinoma cell line using MTT assay. Human prostate cancer cell line (PC-3) & Human cervical cancer cell line were exposed to chloroform & ethanol extract of V.

     Extrait Results: The results showed that the methanolic extracts of stem & leaf of H indicum possessed a good amount of anticancer activity & IC50 for both the extracts found to be 200µg/ml. The study was performed using methanolic extracts against human cancer cell line (HeLa) using MTT assay to analyze the cell growth inhibition.
