    • Selon Urolagin DK (2018)

Extrait Here, we investigated the anti-cancer effects of 3 drug extracts-Vitis vinifera-Grape seeds (GSE), Ixora coccinea flower & Piper longum root extract against breast cancer treatment. The percentage inhibition of V vinifera (10–320 µg/ml), I coccinea (10–320 µg/ml) & P longum (10–320 µg/ml) treatment of cells resulted in 10–90%, 6-53% & 14-90% growth inhibition respectively.

    • Selon Sumathy H (2012)

Extrait To investigate the presence of various phytochemicals from the flowers extracts of Ixora coccinea belonging to the Rubiaceae family. Further study on the in vitro anticancer activity was extended to elucidate the molecular Mechanism of action of the EA extract.

    • Selon Sajini RJ (2024)

Extrait ixora coccinea is a medicinal plant with many active constituents that are responsible for wound healing & have anticancer properties. Both studies involved in the DNA damage study against malignant melanoma cell lines showed the cleavage of apoptotic cancer cells, which was detected using a fluorescence microscope.

    • Selon Saravanan Periasamy (2011)

Extrait The anticancer activity of the leaves of Ixora coccinia (Rubiaceae) was found to be due principally to the known alkaloid, camptothecin.

    • Selon LEE CL (2010)

Extrait Two novel derivatized peptides, designated as ixorapeptide I (1) & ixorapeptide II (2), in addition to 28 other known compounds, were isolated from the MeOH extract of Ixora coccinea using Bioassay-guided fractionation. Compound 1 exhibited selective potency against Hep3B liver cancer cell line with an IC (50) value of 3.36 μg/mL, & compound 2 did not show notable cytotoxicity toward cancer cell lines but could inhibit superoxide anion generation & elastase release with IC (50) values of 0.21 and 0.27 μg/mL, respectively.

    • Selon Ma M Faye L Carvajal (2023)

Extrait This study was conducted to determine the Bio-Efficacy of Santan (Ixora coccinea) Leaf Extract against Trichophyton mentagrophytes: An Antifungal Susceptibility Testing. The study used the experimental research design and subjected the PDA cultures of Trichophyton mentagrophytes into sterile distilled water as a negative control, Ketoconazole as the positive control, & three (3) concentrations of IC leaf extract in three (3) trials.

    • Selon Davendran A (2020)

Extrait Ixora Coccinea Linn., belongs to the family Rubiaceae, which is typically known as Red Ixora or jungle of geranium, it is an evergreen shrub which is habited in India. In this review studies the traditional and Pharmacological uses of Ixora Coccinea.

    • Selon Nalvothula R (2014)

Extrait This study aims to analyse aqueous, ethanolic & methanolic extracts of flowers of Ixora coccinea for the presence of various phytochemicals & synthesised silver nanoparticles using the aqueous extract of IC flowers & also checked the antimicrobial activity, TLC studies using both the extracts.

    • Selon Chatterjee P (2014)

Extrait This paper represents the antifungal property of the crude leaf extract of Ixora coccinea against Botrytis cinerea. As the result was positive, we performed sequential solvent partitioning of the crude leaf extract of IC to locate which fraction actually carries the antifungal one.

    • Selon Poornima S (2014)

Extrait the antibacterial property of leaves of different colored varieties of Ixora coccinea Linn (Family: Rubiaceae) was studied against drug-resistant pathogenic bacteria by agar well diffusion & broth dilution methods. Presence of phytochemicals such as alkaloids, phenols, steroids, saponins, and flavonoids were observed in the plant extracts which have antibacterial activity & can be used for medicinal purpose.
