    • Selon Ceccarini MR (2016)

Extrait In particular, downexpression of genes involved in tumor migration & invasion (CCL5), in increased risk of metastasis & antiapoptotic signal (DUSP1), & in carcinogenesis (GPx-3 and PTGS1), together with overexpression of tumor suppressor gene (MT3), suggested that Umbrian LB berries could play a protective role against hepatocellular carcinoma. The properties of LB berries cultivated in Umbria (Italy) & their effect on human hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HepG2) have been investigated in this work.

    • Selon CUI B (2011)

Extrait This study evaluated the protective effects of aqueous extract of Lycium barbarum (LBAE) & ethanol extract of Lycium barbarum (LBEE) on blood lipid levels, serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activities liver tissue antioxidant enzyme activities in rats fed a high fat diet (HF). Rats fed the HF diet alone showed increased hepatocellular enzyme activities in plasma, a significant decline in antioxidant enzyme activities, & elevated liver lipid peroxidation indices.

    • Selon Li D (2023)

Extrait Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBPs) have been shown to exert an antiglycemic effect.

    • Selon Sanghavi A (2012)

Extrait It has also shown good anti-cancer properties & has been tested against liver, colon, prostate, breast, & cervical cancers. Hence goji berry can be tried as a potential anticancer agent to manage oral squamous cell carcinoma.

    • Selon Amagase H (2011)

Extrait Lycium barbarum has been used as a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to nourish liver & kidney, & brighten the eye. LB on aging, neuroprotection, general well-being, fatigue/endurance, metabolism/energy expenditure, glucose control in diabetics, glaucoma, anti-oxidant properties, immunomodulation, anti-tumor activity & cytoprotection.

  2. Diabete mellitus de type II

    Partie usitée : Feuille.

    • Selon Liu H (2022)

Extrait Lycium barbarum polysaccharides, polyphenols, carotenoids & amino acids are the major natural bioactive compounds in the fruits of LB They have many physiological activities & medicinal values & have shown significant anti-diabetic effects. The fruits of Lycium barbarum, an ancient tonic and a traditional Chinese medicine, have shown beneficial effects against chronic metabolic diseases.

    • Selon Luo O (2004)

Extrait The hypoglycemic & hypolipidemic effects of Lycium barbarum fruit water decoction, crude polysaccharide extracts (crude LBP), & purified polysaccharide fractions (LBP-X) in alloxan-induced diabetic or hyperlipidemic rabbits were investigated through designed sequential trials & by measuring blood glucose & serum lipid parameters. It was found that the three LB fruit extracts/fractions could significantly reduce blood glucose levels & serum total cholesterol (TC) & triglyceride (TG) concentrations and at same time markedly increase high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c) levels after 10 days treatment in tested rabbits, indicating that there were substantial hypoglycemic & hypolipidemic effects.

    • Selon Quan N (2023)

Extrait Ultrasound–microwave combined extraction (UMCE), gradient ethanol precipitation, chemical characterization, & antioxidant & hypoglycemic activities of Lycium barbarum leaf polysaccharides (LLP) were systematically studied. Among the three fractions, LLP30 possessed relatively high antioxidant & hypoglycemic activities in vitro, which showed a potential for becoming a nutraceutical or a phytopharmaceutical for prevention & treatment of hyperglycemia or diabetes.

    • Selon Masci A (2018)

Extrait In the last decades, glycoconjugates from Lycium barbarum L. The evidence suggests that these purified components of the Goji berry may be potentially useful as adjuvants in the treatment of diabetes & its correlated illnesses.

    • Selon Sharifi-Rad J (2024)

Extrait The present review focuses on the research evidence related to the therapeutic properties of Lycium barbarum L. It has been seen how a healthy lifestyle & good dietary practices are key to improving the different metabolic parameters &, therefore, play a fundamental role in reducing the risk of developing diabetes.

    • Selon SANGHAVI A (2023)

Extrait Removal of the microbial deposits (plaque & calculus) by performing effective scaling & root planing (SRP) is the fundamental step for managing periodontal disease (gingivitis & periodontitis). Hence the present study aims to evaluate the efficacy of goji berry mouthwash compared to chlorhexidine mouthwash for managing periodontitis.

    • Selon Sanghavi A (2012)

Extrait barbarum), popularly referred to as Goji berry, is a promising herb known for its powerful anti-antioxidant, antibacterial, & anti-inflammatory properties. Hence goji berry can be tried as a potential anticancer agent to manage oral squamous cell carcinoma.

    • Selon Skenderidis P (2019)

Extrait The present study aimed at assessing the antimicrobial properties of a water & ethanol ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) of dry goji berries & of lyophilised powdered pomegranate peel in vitro. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) & minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) methods, turbidity (cell density) measurement, & well diffusion assay were used to determine the antimicrobial activity against several species of foodborne bacteria (Gram–, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, Campylobacter jejuni),(Gram-+Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium perfringens), yeasts (Yar&ia lipolytica, Metschinokowia fructicola, & Rhodotorula miucilaginosa) & fungi (oenicimmum expansum, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium oxysporum & Rhizoctonia solani).
