Murraya koenigii (Kaloupilé) : vertus médicinales en extraction alcoolique

Murraya koenigii (Kaloupilé, karouvalpilaï) — famille Rutacées.

Synonymes scientifiques : Bergera koenigii-L.

    • Selon Zou J (2021)

Extrait However, no study has determined whether the total flavonoids of MK (TFMP) has preventive effects on diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM). Diabetic rats showed serious histological changes & increased levels of cardiac function markers.

    • Selon Zou J (2014)

Extrait This study was designed to evaluate the effects of total flavonoids extracted from the leaves of Murraya paniculata (L.) Jack (TFMP) on diabetic nephropathy. High fat diet & streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats were treated with the TFMP (35 or 70 mg/kg) for 13 weeks. (2004) — extrait : The effect of daily oral administration of aqueous extract (600 mg/kg b.wt.) and methanol extract (200 mg/kg b.wt.) of Murraya koenigii Spreng leaves for a period of eight weeks was studied on blood glucose & plasma insulin level in alloxan-induced diabetic rats. This suggests that the hypoglycemic effect may be mediated through stimulating insulin synthesis and/or secretion from the beta cells of pancreatic islets of Langerhans.

    • Selon -Husna F (2018)

Extrait The present study aims to investigate whether the antihyperglycemic effect of Murraya koenigii is mediated by antioxidant properties & insulin mimetic effect. Methods: Thirty Spraque-Dawley rats were induced hyperglycemia by streptozotocin & nicotinamide (STZ-NA).

    • Selon Paul S (s.d.)

Extrait To delineate whether aqueous (AEM) & 50% methanol (MEM) leaf extracts have immunomodulatory properties to regulate oxidative stress metabolism & fight against the adverse effect of diabetes in diabetic mice. Materials & methods: Alloxan-induced diabetic mice were received oral doses of extract (≥ 200 mg/kg body weight).
