Selon del Socorro Fernandes M (2021)
Extrait The effect of chitosan addition on the production of secondary metabolites of Piper auritum ethanolic extracts was tested, as well as the in vitro fungicidal activity against Fusarium oxysporum f. The concentrations of flavonoids, phenols, terpenes, alkaloids & salicylic acid were measured in PA ethanolic extracts & the antifungal activity was measured with the median effective concentration (EC50).

Selon Chacon C (2021)
Extrait Chacon C et al, In Vitro Antifungal Activity & Chemical Composition of Piper auritum Kunth Essential Oil against Fusarium oxysporum & Fusarium equiseti, Agronomy, 11(6):1098, 2021-Abtract: The essential oils of plants of the genus Piper have secondary metabolites that have antimicrobial activity related to their chemical composition. The objective of our work was to determine the chemical composition & evaluate the antifungal activity of the aerial part essential oil of PA obtained by hydrodistillation on Fusarium oxysporum & Fusarium equiseti isolated from Capsicum chinense.
-
Selon Valdès-Perez O (2016)
Extrait Evaluate the antifungal activity of Piper auritum & Cymbopogon citratus essential oils against four fungal strains isolated from indoor air of repositories of the National Archives of Cuba. RESULTS: Both essential oils showed positive antifungal activity against all strains at the concentration of 50%, except in A flavus in the first case & A niger for the last.

Selon Trujillo-Santiago E (2021)
Extrait The antioxidant & antimicrobial effects of Hierba Santa (Piper auritum Kunth) ethanolic extracts (HSEE) from plant powder of particle sizes 425 μm (EPA) & 850 μm (EPB) were evaluated in raw & raw-cooked beef burgers stored for 9 days at 4 °C, as well as raw-frozen & raw-frozen-cooked beef burgers stored for 90 days at –20 °C. The in vitro antioxidant & antimicrobial activities as well as total phenolic, chlorophyll & carotenoid content of HSEE were studied.

Selon Aguilar-Urquizo E (2020)
Extrait The objective of this study was to evaluate the phytobiotic activity, in vitro & in vivo, of an extract & an essential oil of Piper auritum & Ocimum basilicum on avian Escherichia coli serotype O2 in broiler chickens experimentally infected. In the in vivo test, 40 chickens were inoculated, by intratracheal route, with a bacterial suspension of 1 × 108 CFU mL-1.

Extrait Bioactivity-guided fractionation of methanol extracts from leaves of Piper auritum produced four triterpenoid saponin compounds 1-4. The effects of lipid peroxidation & oxidative stress in the liver, pancreas, & kidney were reversed, with reductions insulin resistance & stimulation of insulin production.

Selon Neira Gonzalez Am (2014)
Extrait To investigate the effect of hypoglycaemic, hypolipidemic, oxidative stress, insulin resistance & advanced glycation end products (AGEs) formation of hexane extract from Piper auritum. Conclusion: The hexane extract from PA leaves can efficiently inhibit insulin resistance, AGEs formation, improvement of renal function, lipid abnormalities & oxidative stress, indicating that its therapeutic properties may be due to the interaction of hexane extract components with multiple targets involved in diabetes pathogenesis,.
