  1. Inflammation pulmonaire, blessure pulmonaire aigue, oedème pulmonaire

Partie usitée : Parties aériennes. Profil pharmacologique documenté : Dexamethasone-like.

    • Selon Su Zuqing (2015)

Extrait Patchouli alcohol (PA) is a tricyclic sesquiterpene isolated from Pogostemon cablin, which exerts anti-inflammatory, anti-influenza & cognitive-enhancing bioactivities. The results of the present study demonstrated that pretreatment with PA significantly increased survival rate, attenuated histopathologic damage & lung edema, & decreased the protein content in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of mice with ALI.

    • Selon Pandey SK (2022)

Extrait The purpose of this study was to examine & compare the chemical composition, antimicrobial activity, & various biological activities of Pogostemon cablin flower & leaf essential oils. Highest anti-inflammatory activity was exhibited by PCLEO (IC50 = 4.49 µg/mL).

    • Selon Lu TS (2011)

Extrait Lu TS et al, Analgesic & Anti-Inflammatory Activities of the Methanol Extract from Pogostemon cablin, eCAM, 2011-doi:10.1093/ecam/nep183,.

    • Selon LI CW (2013)

Extrait the aim of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory property of the ethanol extract of the root & rhizome of Pogostemon cablin (ERP). The anti-inflammatory effect was evaluated using four animal models including xylene-induced mouse ear edema, acetic acid-induced mouse vascular permeability, carrageenan-induced mouse pleurisy, & carrageenan-induced mouse hind paw edema.

    • Selon Dechayont B (2017)

Extrait The ethanolic extract had the greatest activity against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus , methicillin sensitive S. aureus , & Streptococcus pyogenes with zone diameters of 11.67±1.53 , 10.33±2.52 , & 10.33±1.15 mm, respectively.

    • Selon Pandey SK (2022)

Extrait The purpose of this study was to examine & compare the chemical composition, antimicrobial activity, & various biological activities of Pogostemon cablin flower & leaf essential oils. Apart from their antimicrobial activity, the PCLEO was found to outperform both PCFEO as well as the standards in their respective assays.

Extrait Leaf Ethyl acetate extract showed significantly better antimicrobial activity against both Staphylococcus aureus 6538 (Gram-positive) (SA) & Klebsiella pneumonia ATCC 27,736 (Gram-negative) bacteria compared to the Hexane extract & was subjected to phytochemical analysis & chromatographic seperation. cablin were extracted using Hexane & ethyl acetate.

    • Selon Kim K (2015)

Extrait Compounds 1-3 displayed weak antibacterial activity against two gram-positive bacteria, Bacillus subtilis & Staphylococcus aureus. A new octaketide, named cytosporone V (1), & two other known phenylethanoid glycosides (2-3), were isolated from the aerial parts of Pogostemon cablin (Blanco) Benth.

Extrait Patchouli alcohol (PA) is a tricyclic sesquiterpene isolated from Pogostemon cablin, which exerts anti-inflammatory, anti-influenza & cognitive-enhancing bioactivities. These results indicated that PA may exert potent protective effects against LPS-induced ALI in mice, the mechanisms of which are possibly associated with the anti-inflammatory & antioxidative activities of PA.
