    • Selon Arirudran B (s.d.)

Extrait tuberosa exhibited significant protective effect from hepatic damage in N-Nitrosodiethylamine induced hepatotoxicity model. The present study aims to carry out a systematic investigation of the protective influences of the ethyl acetate & ethanolic extract of R .tuberosa against N-Nitrosodiethylamine-induced hepatocarcinogenesis in Wistar albino rats.

    • Selon Chang WC (2018)

Extrait However, both RTLW & RTLE significantly normalized the expression of hepatic phase I detoxification enzymes such as CYP 2E1 & expression of phase II detoxification enzymes such as UGT 1A7 & GST M1 in diabetic rats. The present study suggests that RTL may ameliorate abnormal hepatic detoxification function via alleviating hyperglycemia & enhancing hepatic antioxidant capacity in HFD/STZ-induced diabetic rats.

    • Selon Manikandan A (2010)

Extrait The study was undertaken to investigate the effect of 50% hydro -ethanolic leaf extracts of Ruellia tuberosa & Dipteracanthus patulus on lipid profile in alloxan induced diabetic rats. Extracts were orally administered daily for 30 days at a dosage of 250 & 500 mg/kg bodyweight to alloxan induced diabetic rats.

    • Selon Roskiana A (s.d.)

Extrait This study aimed to determine the influence of ethanolic root extracts of Ruellia tuberosa L on protease activity & MDA levels on pancreatic diabetic rats. The results showed that ethanolic root extracts of R tuberosa at dose of 250 mg/kg BW was the best dose to decrease significantly protease activity & MDA level in the pancreas of diabetic rats with the percentages of 52.11% & 50.54%, respectively.

    • Selon Chang WC (2018)

Extrait The present study suggests that RTL may ameliorate abnormal hepatic detoxification function via alleviating hyperglycemia & enhancing hepatic antioxidant capacity in HFD/STZ-induced diabetic rats. Male Wistar rats were fed a high fat diet (HFD) & intraperitoneally injected with streptozotocin (STZ) to induce diabetes.

    • Selon Ko CY (2018)

Extrait We investigated the effect of RTL aqueous & ethanolic extracts on hypoglycemia in high‐fat diet (HFD) ‐fed plus streptozotocin (STZ) ‐induced T2DM rats, & examined the effect of RTL on glucose uptake in tumor necrosis factor‐α‐induced insulin‐resistant mouse C2C12 myoblasts, a mouse skeletal muscle cell line. The administration of 100 or 400 mg kg BW⁻¹ day⁻¹ of RTL aqueous or ethanolic extracts once a day for 4 weeks significantly ameliorated hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia & the insulin resistance (IR) index in diabetic rats.
