Diethylnitrosamine (DEN) is a common rat model used in the study of the mechanism of chemical carcinogenesis & the response of Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to anticancer drug therapy.

      Extrait Using EESB & EESW (0.1, 0.5 & 1 mg/ear), GEESB & GEESW gel formulations (1, 3 and 5%) and ellagic acid (EA - 1 mg/ear), the topical anti-inflammatory activity was carried out by Croton oil-induced ear edema. These results suggest that S.M stem has topical anti-inflammatory activity, which supports the traditional uses & may represent an alternative for the treatment of cutaneous inflammation.

      Extrait this study was designed to investigate the redox-regulation capacity of Spondias mombin leaf fraction rich in Quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (Q3G-RF) in rat model of dichlorvos (DDVP) toxicity. Conclusion : Q3G-RF reversed the induced oxidative stress & inflammation as well as suppressed sperm function & reproductive parameters caused by dichlorvos, suggesting the exploration as a therapeutic agent in managing male fertility disorders.
