    • Selon Mahid Al-Hasan SMM (2011)

Extrait It was observed that the EESM (ethanolic extract of S Mahogani) seeds have Hypoglycaemic effect in Alloxan treated diabetic rats but has no effect on Blood glucose level in nondiabetic rats. The result suggested that the ethanolic extract of S Mahogani seeds may be a Useful in Hypoglycaemic agent in the treatment of diabetes mellitus.

    • Selon Hasan SM (2013)

Extrait The study was performed to compare the blood glucose lowering effect of Swietenia mahagoni seeds with an oral antidiabetic drug, rosiglitazone in experimentally induced diabetic rats. The observations and results of the present study provide information that ethanolic extract of SM seeds has hypoglycaemic effect in experimentally induced diabetic rats which requires further investigation.

    • Selon Debasis De (2011)

Extrait Antidiabetic, antioxidative, & antihyperlipidemic activities of aqueous-methanolic (2 : 3) extract of Swietenia mahagoni seed studied in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Furthermore, the seed extract corrected the levels of serum urea, uric acid, creatinine, cholesterol, triglyceride, & lipoproteins towards the control level in this experimental diabetic model.

    • Selon WRESDIYATI T (2015)

Extrait This ethanolic-maceration SM seed extract also showed hypoglycemic effects in hyperglycemic rats at dose from 100 to 500 mg/kgBW. The objectives of this study were to analyse & compare the bioactive compounds and α-glucosidase inhibitory effect of four different types of Swietenia Mahagoni seed extract, & to analyze the hypoglycemic activity of the greatest inhibition of α-glucosidase-extract in rats.
