Extrait in this work, we estimate the inhibitory effect of two polysaccharides from Taraxacum officinale (TOP) on CCl4-induced oxidative stress & inflammation in Sprague–Dawley rats. TOPs pretreatment also reversed other hepatitis-associated symptoms, including GSH depletion, inhibited anti-oxidative enzyme activities, up-regulation of NF-κB & increased expression of its regulatory inflammatory mediators, such as inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), cyclooxygenase (COX)-2, tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α, & interleukin (IL)-1β.

Extrait the study was conducted to evaluate the effects of whole plant powder of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) on liver fibrosis. The total antioxidant study of TO extract revealed that TO has notable ferric reducing antioxidant power and high total phenolic content.Conclusion : Finally, these results suggest that dandelion prevents the progression of hepatic fibrosis induced by CCL4.

The result showed that the volume of group leaf extract, robot extract and the mixture of leaf & root extract 0.4 ml (0.65 g), 0.6 ml (0.97 g), and 0.8 ml (1.29 ml) can reducing blood glucose levels in alloxan-induced ratsat the end of the Study.
