Extrait This study aim to determine the protective effect of Grape seeds (Vitis vinifera) ethanolic extract against streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Also, it can be speculated that Grape seed (Vitis vinifera) ethanolic extract has a hypoglycemic effect possibly related to the phytochemical compounds of Vitis vinifera plant seeds include Gallic acids, Catechin, Ρ-hydroxy Benzoic acid, Vanillin, Ferulic acid, Ρ-Coumaric acid, Euganol , as well as, 5,7- Dihydroxy 4-methoxy isoflavone which can optimize sugar uptake in the liver.

Extrait Objective: In this study, the protective potential of grape (Vitis vinifera L.) seed extract (GSE) against the toxic effects of cadmium (Cd) on growth hormone, stress hormones, & thyroid hormones in common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) was investigated for the first time. Results: Cadmium exposure caused significant hormonal disruptions in common carp, including reductions in growth hormone, insulin-like growth factor 1, thyroid-stimulating hormone, & triiodothyronine levels, along with elevations in cortisol & thyroxine levels during both acute & subchronic exposure periods (P < 0.05).

Among the selected edible fruit seeds & their different organic solvent extracts, the ethyl acetate extract of P granatum possessed a higher inhibitory effect against lung cancer cell line, compared to other solvent extracts of P guajava & V vinifera fruit seeds, & the IC 50 value was 51.25 ± 1.25 μg/ml, 60.21 ± 1.35 μg/ml & 61.21±1.45μg/ml, respectively.

Extrait Here, we investigated the anti-cancer effects of 3 drug extracts-Vitis vinifera-Grape seeds (GSE), Ixora coccinea flower & Piper longum root extract against breast cancer treatment. The percentage inhibition of V vinifera (10–320 µg/ml), I coccinea (10–320 µg/ml) & P longum (10–320 µg/ml) treatment of cells resulted in 10–90%, 6-53% & 14-90% growth inhibition respectively.
