• Selon Ndouguet Cliton (2021)

Extrait The polyphenols & flavonoids content of the crude extracts & the fractions have been determined by colorimetric methods & the antibacterial activity by the macro-dilution using Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae & Escherichia coli strains. The objective of this study was to carry out a comparative of the antibacterial activity of flavonoids of crude extracts & fractions of the fruit of Voacanga africana & Tabernaemontana contorta on the germs responsible for diarrhea.

    • Selon Duru CM (2010)

Extrait The crude extracts exhibited antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli (34.61 & 25%), Serratia marcescens (45.08 & 29.16%) & Staphylococcus aureus (42.10 & 34.21%). Dried & pulverized seeds of Voacanga africana were extracted with hot & cold absolute ethanol.

    • Selon Ding CF (2018)

Extrait Both compounds exhibited potent activity against Staphylococcus aureus & Salmonella typhi, & their activities were superior to those of the well-known antibacterial drugs berberine & fibrauretine. Voacafricine A & B, two unique monoterpenoid indole alkaloids each bearing five fused heterocycles, were obtained from the fruits of Voacanga africana.

    • Selon Maduaburi-DUCHU C (2010)

Extrait The crude extracts exhibited antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli (34.61 & 25%), Serratia marcescens (45.08 & 29.16%) & Staphylococcus aureus (42.10 & 34.21%). Dried & pulverized seeds of Voacanga africana were extracted with hot & cold absolute ethanol.

  2. Infection fongique : Alternaria solani, Aspergillus flavus, Candida albicans, Rhizopus stolonifer

    • Selon Currais A (2014)

Extrait The goal of this study was to determine whether a phenotypic, cell-based screening approach can be applied to selected plants from STP (Voacanga africana, Tarenna nitiduloides, Sacosperma paniculatum, Psychotria principensis, Psychotria subobliqua) in order to identify natural compounds with multiple biological activities of interest for AD therapeutics. Results: An extract from the bark of Voacanga africana was more protective than any other plant extract in all of the assays (EC50sr2.4 mg/mL).
