    • Selon Morsi MKS (2008)

Extrait Also the efficiency of licorice ethanolic extract as anticancer agent for breast, colon & liver was evaluated. Study revealed that ethanolic extract has strong antihepatic cancer activity at 16.1 µg/ml & anti breast cancer activity at 100 µg/ml, while it has no effect in colon cancer at 100 µg.

    • Selon Rezaiyan Gharagozlu N (2018)

Extrait BAX and BCL2 gene expression levels in HepG2 cells treated by ethanol extract of GG were 1.90 ± 0.01 (P<0.05), & 0.64 ± 0.15, respectively (P<0.05); in HepG2 cells treated with aqueous extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra, the BAX & BCL2 gene expression levels were 1.4 ± 0.4 (P<0.05), and 0.70 ± 0.5 (P<0.05), respectively. Conclusion: GG extract (especially ethanoic extract) has potential uses for treatment of liver cancer. Glycyrrhiza glabra plants are known to have anti- cancer effects in traditional medicine with high antioxidant properties and few side effects.

    • Selon Stecanella LA (2021)

Extrait Glycyrrhizic acid and its hydrolyzed metabolite 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid, obtained from the plant Glycyrrhiza glabra, have numerous pharmacological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcerative, antiallergic, immunomodulatory, antiviral, antitumor, hepatoprotective, & antioxidant effects, & others. This review describes experimental evidence of vectorization by conjugating glycyrrhizic acid or glycyrrhetinic acid to nanosystems & delivery of antitumor drugs for the treatment of liver cancer & also describes the techniques used to perform this conjugation.

    • Selon Hasan K (2023)

Extrait Several compounds such as glycyrrhizin, glycyrrhizinic acid, isoliquiritin, & glycyrrhizic acid have been found in this plant, which can provide pharmacological benefit to us with its anti-cancer, anti-atherogenic, anti-diabetic, anti-asthmatic, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, & antispasmodic activity. Alongside, these products have a different role in hepatoprotective, immunologic, memory-enhancing activity.

    • Selon Nassiri Asl (2008)

Extrait GG root is a traditional medicine used mainly for the treatment of peptic ulcer, hepatitis C, & pulmonary and skin diseases, although clinical & experimental studies suggest that it has several other useful pharmacological properties such as antiinflammatory, antiviral, antimicrobial, antioxidative, anticancer activities, immunomodulatory, hepatoprotective & cardioprotective effects. The roots & rhizomes of lGlycyrrhiza species have long been used worldwide as a herbal medicine & natural sweetener.
