      Extrait The aim of this research was to see the effect of Lawsonia inermis leaves ethanolic extract on liver histopathological of alloxan-induced Wistar rats. Result: The results showed that in P4 group, LLEE dose 600 mg/Kg BW for 28 days able to improve liver tissues structure of alloxan-induced Wistar rats.

      Extrait Aims: In our study the main objective is to find out the hypoglycemic activity of ethanolic extract of leaves of Lawsonia inermis Linn in alloxan induced diabetic rats & its comparison with the standard drug Glibenclamide. Methodology: Albino rats weighing 200-250gms were selected and diabetes was induced by injecting alloxan monohydrate (180mg/kg b.w) intra peritonially.

      Extrait The Present investigation was undertaken to evaluate the Polyherbal Formulation of Lawsonia inermis & Azadirachta indica in Alloxan & Streptozocin induced diabetic rats. The results showed that the Polyherbal formulation of L inermis & A indica (F1, F2, F3) found to be significant decrease (P<0.01) in blood glucose level as compared to the diabetic control group of animals while F4 & F5 were not significant (P>0.01) compared to the diabetic control group of animals.

      Extrait Abstract: The aimed of this study is to extract the essential oil from Strobilanthes crispus(Acanthaceae) & Lawsonia inermis Linn (Lythraceae) & to investigate the chemical constituents, antioxidant activity & cytotoxicity effects of these oils on several cancer cell lines and normal cell lines. The essential oil from L displayed the strongest cytotoxic effect on liver cancer cell lines (HepG2) with50- IC(concentration that inhibit 50% of cell proliferation) value of 24 μg ml.
